WR Mini Kickers
Wisconsin Rapids Kickers Soccer Club is excited to offer a youth developmental soccer academy for our community's youngest players. The Wisconsin Rapids Kickers Mini Kickers Midway District Mites is open to all area youth ages 5 to 8 at the time of the academy regardless of school, soccer club, or recreational program affiliation. The skills focus on soccer fundamentals and proper techniques while creating a fun environment that allows athletes to learn the game of soccer.
Spring 2026 Season Information
Who?
- Any child ages 5 to 8 (birth year 2018 to 2020 and 2021, if you are currently 5)
Cost: $50 which includes practices, certified coaches, tournaments, T-shirt, and a Ball. Financial assistance is available.
When and where will the Mini Kickers run?
- TBD - Late April to Mid-May
- All sessions will be held at Washington Elementary Soccer Complex Field 1.
- Dates/Times of Practice:
- Ages 5 to 6 (Must be 5 at the time of registration)

- Ages 7 to 8
- TBD
Each session players should bring/wear the following:
- Soccer cleats (recommended, not required)
- Shin guards (required; for safety reasons, players without shin guards will not be allowed to play)
- Clothes suitable for the weather
- Water bottle
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and have fun
If a make-up session is needed due to weather cancelation, a make up date will be determined and parents will be notified via the Kickers communication channels.
